Software Engineer — AI Agents & Product

We’re building OnSite, an intelligent work chat for field workers that turns conversations, photos, and voice notes into useful actions.

We’re looking for a software generalist with hands-on experience building AI agents. You’ll own features from agent behaviour through backend integration and production deployment.

You’ll work on:

• Building agents that understand work context and take actions through tools and APIs.
• Improving retrieval, conversation memory, and workflows that involve human review.
• Creating evaluations that measure accuracy and catch regressions.
• Making agents reliable, fast, and cost-effective.

You should have strong backend engineering skills, experience shipping LLM-powered features, and confidence working across Python or TypeScript, databases, and cloud infrastructure.

Bonus: Experience building real-world work chat or messaging systems, working with Kafka, and using AI coding agents to build and ship software.
